GIVEAWAY ALERT: Immaculate Heart of Mary Felt Saint Softie Doll from SaintlySilver

Etsy shop SaintlySilver has generously hand-sewn one of her dolls to giveaway to a lucky reader.

All you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post. Tell me how Mary's Immaculate Heart has influenced your life. Winners will drawn randomly.

Last month, I was in search of something religious, unique, and long-lasting to give to my niece on her birthday.

I was thrilled to find this precious Immaculate Heart of Mary Felt Saint Softie Doll from SaintlySilver on Etsy, 100% hand-sewn and made with love. Much to my delight, I realized after opening it, it was even more beautiful and intricate than what was shown on the pictures.

This design also contains Eco-Fi felt. A felt made from recycled plastic bottles. Constructed with felt, thread, and poly-fill materials made in the USA and Germany. A Big Bonus... a cloth label on the back with Immaculate Heart of Mary prayer!

SaintlySilver also specializes in an amazing array of other hand-sewn Catholic saints and has been featured in the NY Times!

Please leave your email address if you don't have a blogger account.

This giveaway ends Thursday, January 31 2013 at midnight CT.

  1. Love this give-away...will pass along to other Catholic friends! The Immaculate Heart of Mary is something that reads like a legend to me. Can we turn our hearts away from ourselves and give them completely to the Lord? Instead of saying, not like Mary...I like to look at it like I have each blessed day to polish my heart, and ready it & my childrens' hearts for the Lord. How precious is our Mother's heart that she would share it & care for all of us sinning children.
I rely on the thought(s) that each day I face something difficult, it's all for Jesus.

    1. Beautifully stated...thanks for passing the info on! You are so right...how can we give our hearts completely to the Lord when we turn them away from ourselves first. Mary is everything I want to be as a mother. Her heart influences me day to day...reminding me that I should be more patient, kind, unselfish, loving, and charitable.

  3. What a beautiful little doll! When I struggle in my vocation as a mother or in my career as a therapist for geratric patients, I ask Immaculate Mary for guidance. She is my friend, mentor and mother.

  4. I fail daily. When I approach the Blessed Sacrament, I esentially ask Mary to 'borrow' her heart so that I may approach her son. I also ask her to transform my heart into one like hers.

  5. I find inspiration in Mary's Immaculate Heart. That she can hold all the joys and sufferings of Christ in her heart. As a mother, I pray to have a heart as strong and beautiful as Mary. ( amylikesyou at gmail.com )

  6. I have always felt close to Mary. I don't know why. I"m always praying Hail Mary's under my breath, all my life I have been. When I've been scared or nervous or anxious my first thought is always to Mary, who I think, in return has turned me toward her Son.

    1. This is so true...when I was in the hospital with my baby, I was praying to her to give me the strength not to break down. I was so tired from being up the previous week with my other sick kids + working part-time. I believe God and Mary gave me the strength to take care of my family...and then it was my turn to be sick! :)
